Alex and Kayla built their business, now over a decade in the making, out of their love for all things real estate and a passion to provide exceptional customer service to the clients they served. Alex Smith, MBA

Alex moved to Austin, TX and became a licensed REALTOR® in 2017 while obtaining an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University. His love for all things real estate goes back to when he was a child and would accompany his grandparents, both brokers on tours in Louisville, KY. He knew from an early age that real estate, in particular commercial real estate, was his passion. Outside of real estate, Alex has over 10 years of customer service and management experience in a retail setting and he brings that same drive, attention to detail and care to his work and clients he helps today.
When Alex isn’t working, he’s taking road trips around the country with his wife, two children, pug and golden-doodle, or taking on a new home improvement project.
Kayla Smith, SHRM-CP
Co-Founder / Director of Growth and Operations
Kayla’s passion for helping people runs deep, with over 10 years of customer service and management experience along with over 7 years of human resource and talent acquisition experience. Kayla has worked with companies such as Meta, POOLCORP, and the Secretary of States office advising in their human recourses and talent acquisition departments. Kayla has been an integral part of developing, building, and implementing companywide initiatives at both Meta and POOLCORP. Kayla is excited to use her wide array of experience and knowledge to continue to help Smith Properties Group grow and flourish.
In her free time Kayla enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, and relaxing.
